Once upon a time there was a man called Billy who had a pet cat. His name was Tommy. He had a beautiful brown-reddish coat and was quite overweight. In addition, Garfield had big eyes and small paws. For a long time, the cat had been his best friend. They went eating all the time and they did many more, such as stealing sausages and milk from the butcher and the milkman, just to get a delicious breakfast everyday morning. something else they always did was set up traps to irritate all dogs in the neighborhood. they often got into a fight with the owners of the dogs. one day a man became so angry that he caught all the traps at night and handed them over to the police. The police gave Billy and Tommy a fine of 300 euros. But the absolute favorite thing the two did was going on a luxurious vacation every month! They either went to Mexico or the Maldives. The only thing the two did there was admiring the gorgeous views of the mountains and the see and enjoying the great food. But then all this changed, when Tommy and Billy got too fat at one of their vacations to Mexico. Both had to go to the hospital because of food poisoning. It was all cause of that delicious food. Tommy couldn’t resist all the cocktails and snacks. Billy was lucky and cured of his illness, but Tommy on the other hand was only getting worse and worse. One day he ate the entire food-supply of the hospital. He was in a critical situation. But then, a really smart surgeon came up with a fantastic plan. He decided to make food pills which gave Tommy no need to eat. Billy was relieved after he heard the news. After two months the two were both on the right path, but suddenly everything changed again. After stealing a bunch of sausages, Tommy was caught by the butcher. He took the cat and brought him to a pet-prison. The judge decided to punish Tommy with five years of prison. Billy heard the news and immediately went looking for a solution to get Tommy out of prison. He came up with a brilliant plan! The best solution to get Tommy out was to apply for a job as an animal agent at the prison. Billy did that and surprisingly the director hired him. The first thing Billy did of course was to free Tommy out of his cell. They ran away from the prison and fled to Mexico where they lived happily ever after! 

In the Netherlands it is permitted to vote from the age of eighteen. Many people advocate voting right from the age of sixteen. Opinions differ a lot. Is this too early, or is it not? 

An argument against this issue is that young people of sixteen are not yet widely interested in political ideas. One reason for this is that parents of young people usually take the lead in political matters and decisions. So the youngsters of sixteen do not easily see the need to vote. 

Secondly, most young people are not yet well informed about the entire political system. This knowledge is often only obtained from the age of eighteen. As a result, young people base their vote on a few positions that are highlighted by a party, while a party has many more points of view. Another consequence may be that one certain political party will be ranked a lot higher because of a few popular statements that appeal to the young people. 

On the other hand, lowering the voting age also has advantages. One of them is that Holland is aging. This makes the younger people more important because they are going to be the new generation. It also gives a better distribution of the votes. Older people are mostly voting on a few particular parties with the same statements. This way of thinking also goes with most young people. So it all makes up for each other. 

Secondly there is no duty to vote, which means that people can do what they want. So what prevents one from stopping interested youngsters from voting. Ultimately, a lot or youngsters are not equally interested in voting. 

According to the arguments, my preference goes ‘for’ the statement. the main reason for this choice is that I think that young people should be more involved in the society. 

Logan has two YouTube channels: ‘TheOfficialLoganPaul’. On this channel he posted funny sketches and music videos. And ‘Logan Paul Vlogs’. On this channel he posted daily vlogs from September 12, 2016, to December 1, 2018, this channel is actually the fastest growing channel on YouTube. He also has done a number of things where he is not really proud of. He made a music video called ‘No Handlebars’. This song was about how he ride girls like bicycles. A lot of people found it really inappropriate and called Logan a sexist. Still he has done more right than wrong. When he became 21 he started his own clothing line called Maverick. Maverick stands for ‘an unorthodox or independent-minded person’ just like Logan likes to see himself. He started the Maverick clothing line with a few moto’s like ‘do it different’ and ‘dent the universe’. With this moto’s he is trying to encourage people to be there self. That’s why I admire him. 

Logan Paul is a 23 year old adult. He was born in Ohio at April 1 1995. Logan Paul is a ‘professional vlogger and entertainer’, as he calls himself. He started his career young, when he was 10, he already started to make YouTube videos for the Youtube channel  Zoosh.  A couple of years later he started making Vines. This was a social media platform where people post funny short video’s, sketches, to entertain others. Logan became the 10^th biggest influential figure and started to earn a lot of money by adding adds. He earned like 100.000 dollar a month. He grew bigger and bigger on every social media platform. In April 2014 he had already gattered 105,000 Twitter followers, 361,000 Instagram followers, 31,000 likes on his Facebook page and about 150,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel (not Zoosh).  

At the moment Logan Paul is still growing a lot on his Youtube channel ‘LoganPaulVlogs’. He now has around 19 million subscribers and more than 3,6 billion views on his internet video’s. 

The Fighting Temeraire is a painting made by the English painter William Turner. It was painted in 1839. The painting is painted with oil on a large canvas. It shows the English naval ship HMS Temeraire which is towed in the Thames and later on demolished. The painting can be seen in the National Gallery in London.

The Temeraire was one of the largest warships in the history of the Royal Navy. It was launched in 1798. It counted three floors, 98 guns and played, among other things, a crucial role in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, where Horatio Nelson’s flagship HMS Destroyed Victory and heralded the turnaround in the battle. In 1838, however, the ship was outdated and, after being served as a cargo ship for the last thirteen years, she was towed from Sheerness to the Thames to Rotherhithe for tens of kilometers to be demolished. This event was watched by many Britons, including Turner, who was very impressed with the scene. A year later he had recorded the event on canvas.

The Fighting Temeraire symbolizes not only the end of a grand ship, but also the end of the British domination at sea, in which the transition from sailing ships to steamships took place. Turner creates an idealized sense of melancholy, an image that is reinforced by the setting sun that casts a glittering shine over the water and the scorched tugboat that vomits a fiery steam cloud from its flue, which symbolizes a new era.

The painting also symbolizes with a white flag, visible on the canvas. The meaning behind this is that the ship is ready for demolition

My first holiday to America was, until now, one of the most beautiful holidays I have had. Me and my family first went from Schiphol to Los Angeles. We then started in L.A. via San Diego-Phoenix to the Grand Canyon. Then via Lake Powell to Bryce Canyon NP, Zion NP and Las Vegas. Via Death Valley we went to Yosemite NP. Then back to San Francisco and along the coastal road back to L.A. The highlights of this trip were as follows: In L.A. we went to the Universal Studio’s. After that we visited the Grand Canyon. Not far away from there we went to Death Valley and last but not least we visited Las Vegas, which was a big success. 
From this trip I had the idea that it only consisted of highlights. Plus the fact that this was the first time that we came into contact with American culture, made this one of my most beautiful holidays. 
 
A very different kind of trip that I went on was also very cool. 
I have been in a tropical 5 star resort in Mexico under Playa del Carmen. This was pure luxury and indulgence with a 2 person jacuzzi in the room, a beautiful veranda with double bed, hammock and seat. Everything was inclusive and you were completely pampered. There even went a cocktail cart through the park. 
Another beautiful thing I’ve seen were the hail-white beaches and a beautiful sea. 
 
In short, these were my dream vacations
